peasant goat and big bad wolf

this is 1 of the characters I designed for a flash animation studio in China. It is a 4-year old design...the show is called "peasant goat and big bad wolf". Her name is "beauty goat".She likes to make up,dress up; a lovely female goat.
This is the wall paper of the following chinese new year,and it is done by a co-worker who is working in the studio that I used to work.


Beauty goat is still adorable.

I bought a water color book at Richmond aberdeen center yesterday. this is the exercise I did today by using the "simple water color brush" from painter. Draw more Kelvin !!

oil painting immitating

this is a cg copy of a famous oil painting . I spend 4 days to paint it in Painter.I find that I know more about how to use the camel hair brush now...I do not really understand the color theory, just keep copying what I saw. I think I need to do this stuff more.

last week we had an character design assignment.. here is my character design that accords to the design of Mulan.. I saw those classmates' on the bolg...those with color are so good...I do not dare to post mine on it ..cuz mine seems simpler and monochrome...I think I should buy a tablet...actually I check it on the Internet..the intuors are ....freaking expensive !!!but looks good ..with 3 different tips and when you hold your pen in different gradient or direction it works in different effect...such amazing tool for artists!!
